Danyan Leng is a graduate student working with Dr. Katherine Siegel in the Department of Geography. Her research focuses on biodiversity conservation and human-environment interactions, with a particular interest in integrating diverse quantitative and qualitative methods to bridge the disparities between large-scale conservation management plan and local practices. Danyan received her B.S. from the University of Washington and M.E.M from Yale University. Her previous research projects span studying human-wildlife coexistence, fisheries and marine conservation policy, and global biodiversity monitoring.
