Our Team.
Earth Lab includes full time staff, faculty and other research affiliates, postdocs, graduate, and undergraduate students.
Our Divisions
Science
Earth Lab science projects combine satellite, survey, and field data collected at various spatial and temporal scales to answer critical Earth Science questions and predict change using cutting-edge computational approaches. The volume and variety of these data require innovative approaches to scientific analysis and visualization, supported by the Earth Lab Analytics Hub. Earth Lab science projects are supported by a collaborative and innovative team of post docs, graduate research assistants and undergraduate interns.
Education
Our Earth Analytics program provides 21st century, collaborative, scientific discovery skills. Our courses, degree options, online materials and workshops focus on: integrating heterogeneous data, efficient, reproducible scientific workflows, collaborative scientific workflows, and scientific data processing, visualization and analysis.
Analytics
The Earth Lab Analytics Hub helps scientists use Earth data for scientific discovery. The hub works closely with scientists to develop data and software packages that are available to the public. The team includes experts in remote sensing, programming, statistics, natural language processing, computing, and machine learning.
