Josephina (JoJo) Matibag was an undergraduate intern at the North Central Climate Adaptation Science Center (NC CASC) for the summers of 2024 and 2025. She worked closely with scientists at Earth Lab to support post-fire carbon-recovery research across the Western US, as well as leading a project which highlighted the importance of art-science collaborations.

Josephina is currently pursuing a B.S. in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University
