Kylen is a graduate student from the Geography Department working with Dr. Jennifer Balch. In his research, he focuses on social media communication between emergency management teams and the public during wildfires. He is also interested in improving accessibility to science through free and open source software and education resources.

In his free time, Kylen likes to ride bikes, hike, and cook.
