Ashwath Ramakrishnan is a graduate student working with Dr. Tom Yeh in the Computer Science Department at CU Boulder. His research includes studying deep learning models for image segmentation and multimodality. Ashwath is working on the NASA-funded NRT FIREDpy project, aiming to update the existing globally applicable FIREDpy (Fire Event Delineation Python Package), to support near-real time fire event classification using deep learning and remote sensing.
