Brendan Hobart is a PhD student in the Ecology & Evolutionary Biology Department at CU Boulder. His research background primarily centers on how land use and disturbance affect wildlife populations and communities, with a particular focus on predator–prey and host–parasite interactions. Brendan will be working with the NC RISCC group to quantify the independent and interacting effects of grass invasions, wildland fires, and climate change on native bird communities.
