I earned a Ph.D. and an M.S. degree in Fisheries and Wildlife from Michigan State University and a B.A. degree from Kalamazoo College in Biology.

I am a landscape limnologist researcher who applies theory and approaches from the fields of landscape ecology, and macrosystem ecology to support the management and conservation of lakes, streams, and wetlands.

I am excited to be part of the UC Earth Data Analytics program to develop open science practices and gain hands-on experience coding in Python with real-world applications.

I hope to apply these skills in my current research position with the US Environmental Protection Agency examining variation in hydrologic characteristics of lakes across the continental US and in future job prospects.
