Hello, everybody!

I am now a senior at the Metropolitan State University of Denver and I’m majoring in Environmental Science. My GIS professor spoke to our entire class about this opportunity and encouraged us all to apply, which is what drew me to this EDSC internship. I’m hoping to learn more about programming and coding and their applications in earth data science.

I do not know which job I would like to pursue when I am finished with school, but anything to help mitigate and adapt to climate change is very appealing. Hopefully, I will have more clarity about what I want my career to be in the upcoming year.

For fun, I like to watch movies, practice guitar, and hike. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and family. Some interesting things about me are: I can solve a Rubik’s cube in less than two minutes (still not anywhere near the world record), I was born in China, and I’m good at memorizing phone numbers!
