Heather M. Yocum is a Research Scientist at the University of Colorado-Boulder and CIRES.  An environmental anthropologist and political ecologist, Heather studies how climate and environmental science is produced and used to support natural resource management. She facilitates engagement between the scientific community and users of science to increase the usability of science information and data. Heather has also contributed to the creation of tools for drought and water management, and applications of climate science for land and wildlife managers.
