Hello! My name is Isabella Monaco, I’m originally from Austin, Texas but relocated to Colorado for my undergraduate degree in order to immerse myself in a mountainous environment and gain new perspectives. As a senior at the University of Colorado at Boulder majoring in Environmental Studies with a minor in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences. I am passionate about moving towards a more sustainable future. This internship empowered me by introducing tools and developing my programming skills. Which have opened the door to future opportunities in the earth data science realm. Eventually, I plan to attend graduate school to continue on the path to higher education and thereby facilitating research that encompasses multi-dimensional environmental issues. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outside and appreciating nature. Some of my top hobbies include snowboarding, yoga, and climbing.
