I’m Leialoha (Lola) Johnson-Hagmoc and I am originally from Hawaii but have been in the Denver metro area for 11 years. I am a recent graduate of Metropolitan State University of Denver and was awarded my Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology with a minor in social work. I was drawn to the Earth Data Science Corps program to learn more about the field of data programming and how it can be used in a multitude of capacities in many different sectors. I aspire to work in the nonprofit sector in some capacity contributing to social justice and equity work.

I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures, experiences and places, but I also love exploring all that Colorado has to offer. I enjoy Colorado’s great outdoors, camping, hiking and paddleboarding and love concerts and music festivals. In my spare time, I also love cooking, yoga and am a huge Bob’s Burgers fan.
