I am currently a Senior Geospatial Analyst at Dewberry, a national professional services firm. I support various Lidar acquisition projects, in particular those mapping various coastal locations using topographic-bathymetric (“topo-bathy”) sensors. 

I've spent my entire professional career in a variety of technical roles in the coastal/ocean mapping realm (both public and private sector), performing tasks spanning the entire data “life-cycle” from acquisition to product development to long term management and archival. 

My goals in pursuing the Earth Data Analytics Certificate are to improve my programming proficiency, as well as learn new methods with which to analyze and interact with large datasets and extract meaningful information to support decision-makers.
