My name is Rita Kamenetskiy and I just graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a BS in Biochemistry and a BA in Spanish Language and Literature with minors in Political Science and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology. Learning is an incredibly strong passion of mine that I hope to share with others in my future. I was born and raised in Colorado and was drawn to the EDSC internship in hopes of learning how to code in order to understand the world around me through data. I also hope to contribute to the data community through a meaningful project that is important to Colorado. I will be taking a gap year to travel and code for fun remotely. Afterwards, I hope to go to graduate school to continue my love of learning and study Bioengineering. For fun I love to whitewater raft and kayak, read, build out vans, and do jiu jitsu!
